Friday Fill-Ins - November 9

And...here we go!

1. One time, I tried sushi - I didn't like it.
2. Seeing children having fun is something that makes me smile.
3. Seven words I love: "The last child is gone! Let's go".
4. I have never been to the snow; unless you count the time when I was 3 months old.
5. I looked out the window today and saw a rainbow.
6. Hello! and that's saying something!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to movie night with my sister, tomorrow my plans include going to a friend's birthday party and eating copious amounts of chocolate and Sunday, I want to enjoy the teaching, fellowship and worship at church!

Friday Fill-Ins - October 26

And...here we go!

1. Oh, that makes sense, now I understand.
2. It's a sure sign of insanity when you start answering your own questions out loud.
3. Are we having steak and 3 veg again??!.
4. My heart is lonely.
5. Do you believe in God? I hope you do because I would hate it if you aren't in heaven!
6. I'm a Christian, and I'm not ashamed to say so.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to my Friday night date with my sister, tomorrow my plans include helping clean the church building and Sunday, I want to enjoy the fellowship at church and have a quiet afternoon!

Friday Fill-Ins - October 19

And...here we go!

1. I hope I can get married before Jesus returns.
2. I don't know what to do when I see a certain person - I usually end up saying something stupid.
3. Boy I sure did enjoy the watermelon I had for lunch the other day.
4. Remind me to call someone sometime.
5. What does the local paper think, that we can read the information on the candidates on a Thursday and get our postal votes in the mail to be recieved Friday?
6. It makes me mad when the DVD I borrowed from the library is so scratched that I can't watch it.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to movie night with my sister, tomorrow my plans include going to Ikea and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and a quiet afternoon - I'm open to invitations out for lunch!

And...here we go!

1. The tale is told of true love - it's just too bad the movie version cut out all the references to God.
2. England is something that always makes me think of my ancestors.
3. To ensure you don't spend too much money don't go shopping.
4. Family is a fine thing.
5. It's never too late to draw near to God - just think of the thief on the cross.
6. I wrote a note on the back of an old receipt.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to another quiet night at home, tomorrow my plans include serving with the kids at church and Sunday, I want to enjoy the time in creche, and the fellowship at The Gathering!

Friday Fill-Ins - August 31

And...here we go!

1. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that I want to get married one day (sooner rather than later would be nice).
2. But it's the way it shatters that matters (Violet Crumble, I want to eat you).
3. Basically, there is a dream that I am still waiting to come true.
4. How I interpret life is differnet to how you do, but that's ok because life would be boring if we were all the sam.
5. If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, so that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God. (Genesis 28:20-21) 
6. I believe God has a plan for my life - He just hasn't revealed it all to me yet.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a quiet night at home, tomorrow my plans include going to Paperific and doing as many make and takes as I can and Sunday, I want to serve the families by being in creche and enjoy The Gathering in the evening!

And...here we go!

1. Seeing the world is something I would like to do, but only if I can do it with someone.
2. It's never to choose a new car.
3. According to my latest information I am quite a bit of an introvert.
4. As we go through life there are some friends who are around for just a season; others are there forever.
5. I associate certain smells with memories, but I can't always figure out what they are.
6. Long ago I played outside and computers didn't exist in my world; now they are all the kids want to use and outside play is becoming a thing of the past.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a night at home, tomorrow my plans include getting on with my assignments and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and have a quiet afternoon!

Friday Fill-Ins - August 10

And...here we go!

1. I picked some strawberries from the garden.
2. I spread some smiles around.
3. I heard about all these people getting engaged and wondered when it would be me.
4. I wanted space for more books, but couldn't figure out how to do it in my room.
5. I wish I could find another best friend.
6. I noticed you standing there, but I couldn't get through the crowd to talk to you.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to being at home with my family, tomorrow my plans include heading to the other side of the city for a children's ministry training day and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and get things planned for GNG on Wednesday!

Friday Fill-Ins - July 13

And...here we go!

1. For the first time in ages I have almost finised everything on my 'To Do' list!
2. Watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean is one of my best memories of summer so far.
3. My recipe for pancakes is one of my favorites because I don't have to let it rest for half and hour between mixing and cooking.
4. I will remember many things for years to come others I will forget almost immediately.
5. It starts with a look.
6. Unscented is a fragrance I enjoy most in a candle because it doesn't give me a headache.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a night at home, tomorrow my plans include doing all the things I was supposed to do over the holidays but didn't (or not) and Sunday, I want to enjoy the fellowship at church and plan for the first week of term at GNG with my fellow leaders!

Friday Fill-Ins - June 15

And...here we go!

1. It's always nice when things go according to plan!
2. I like to hear children's laughter.
3. Positive influences; negative influences - both impact us in a variety of ways.
4. This is a collection of completely random statements.
5. What I heard was "Blah, blah, blah".
6. Often, I search for a little something to remind me of where I've been. I don't go for the touristy stuff because I like a little sentiment attached. My current thing is brooches and badges.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a quiet night at home, tomorrow my plans include study, preparing for Sunday afternoon and cleaning at the church building and Sunday, I want to enjoy the fellowship with my church family, have some fun with the kids at our movie afternoon and watch The Voice in the evening!

1. Hallelujah! What a Savior!
2. This is where I wanna be!
3. When I was walking the dog this morning, I saw a handful of goose feathers in the road and I thought this is a crazy dream. Time to wake up.
4. I was getting more and more frustrated in my job and that's how I knew it was time to find a new career.
5. What were once vices are no longer.
6. Toast with Vegimite is what I've been having for breakfast lately.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I enjoyed a fun time with my sister, tomorrow my plans include a little shopping and going to a friend's birthday party and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and The Gathering (our young adult service)!

And...here we go!

1. Speed is of the essence.
2. A holiday is what I've been looking forward to, but the school holidays are almost over!
3. One of the things I like most about traveling is finding things I didn't know I liked.
4. Going to a wedding makes me think maybe this year ...
5. A road trip is always fun - you never know what you will find around the bend.
6.  Steak and veggies is what I had for dinner last night (but then it's what I have almost every night).
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a night at home with Mum, tomorrow my plans include going to a birthday party and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and my last day of holidays before Term 2 begins!

1. I'm feeling content with where my life is right now.

3. I need to find a man before I can do number 2.
4. I was thinking that it would be nice to go and see a movie.
5. I wish my bedroom was designed a little differently.
6. I'm reading several books right now - The Negotiator by Dee Henderson, Becoming a Woman of Simplicy by Cynthia Heald, Piece by Piece by Tammy Tolman, Trusting God by Jerry Bridges, In Search of a Memory by Pamela Griffin.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to an night at home, tomorrow my plans include a "Me" day and Sunday, I want to enjoy church, the church business meeting and our 1st Young Adults service (not that I consider myself to be a young adult anymore)!

1. Finally, I have a job I love.
2. Being 30 sure takes some getting used to!

4. Rosie-posie is my favorite nick name for my sister's cat.
5. It took a long time, but I now have a bookshelf for my larger books.
6. Our house was crowded for my party, though I wouldn't have it any other way.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a night at home, tomorrow my plans include a quiet day at home, including sleeping in and maybe working on some sewing projects and Sunday, I want to enjoy the fellowship at church and have a relaxing afternoon!

Friday Fill-Ins - January 13

And...here we go!

1. When I looked out the window this morning the sun was shinning.
2. Bringing back fashions that went out in the 60's, 70's and 80's for a reason doesn't make sense to me.
3. Remind me to make the most of my last 2 weeks of holiday.
4. Rearranging my room is something I love to do!
5. TP is the abreviation for toilet paper on our shopping list.
6. I cleaned the refrigerator recently and I found Some Easter chocolate.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to time at home, tomorrow my plans include the possibility of a shopping trip or maybe just organising more of my bedroom or doing some party baking and Sunday, I want to enojoy the fellowship and teaching at church!

Friday Fill-Ins - December 30

And...here we go!

1. Wait, wait don't leave me behind, I can't walk that fast.
2. This year is a little different, actually it is very different.
3. In addition, I would like to say that I'm glad this year is almost over.
4. This is the way we do it here!
5. At the end of the year, I like to remember what God has done for me throughout the year.
6. My birthday is one of the things I'm looking forward to in 2012.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to time at home with a funny movie, tomorrow my plans include keeping cool and Sunday, I want to enjoy church and see how the new year begins!


I've been thinking about these fill-ins, and I'm not sure whether to continue doing them next year. I was very spasmodic in doing them this year. I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Friday Fill-Ins - December 16

And...here we go!

1. Sleigh bells ring but not in Australia.

2. It's coming on Christmas, they're cutting down trees to save us from another bush fire season.

3. You're a mean one Mr Grinch.

4. Father Christmas - no wait, I'd prefer to think about why we have Christmas. Because God loved us so much that He sent His Son to take the punishment in our place for the sin that separates us from God, so that we no longer need to be separated from Him.

5. Silent night I can't say that Christmas night is silent because there are often parties going on.

6. All I want for Christmas well I already have my 2 front teeth so I could do with something else, but what I can't decide!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I had a wonderful time hearing a performance of Handel's Messiah, tomorrow my plans include catching up with my friend for our Christmas catch up and having fun in the city and Sunday, I want to go to church in the morning and have a quiet afternoon!

1. One of my favorite things about December is the winding down of the year's activities.

2. We have at least one new ornament each every year!

3. This is what I'm hoping for today/tonight: a good night's sleep.

1. In November, I most look forward to getting going with plans for Christmas.

And...here we go!
