Experiments

I've been experimenting with the settings on my digital camera recently and have wanted to try photographing sparklers for a while, so on New Years Eve when we were celebrating, that is exactly what I did. Here are some of the results.

I have several more shots, but I think these are my favorites.

We were also blowing bubbles!!! One of us would hold a torch while the other blew the bubbles to go over the top. The effect was amazing. The stream of bubbles looked like colourful ricrack. The camera didn't really capture that though.

How true is this?! I heard of one person on hold for 5 hours. They were trying to arrange a flight for their unaccompanied child (this can't be done on the internet), and had to wait that long for service - too bad if the flight was all booked by the time they finally got through.
