Teaser Tuesdays - 11 Jan 2011

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Last week a shared a teaser from a book by Mindy Starns Clark, and this week I'll be doing the same - from a different book, but the same series.

The Buck Stops Here by Mindy Starns Clark

'"Tom, if I knew the truth, the whole truth, about Bryan's death," I said, faltering, "would you and I have a future together? Could we go on, as a couple?"
He took a deep breath and slowly let it out.
"I don't know, Callie," he said finally. "I just don't know."'

OH I hope they do, does that mean she hide something about Bryan's death or he held something from her.
