'Liam showed up at my door just when he said he would. "Why, hello, gorgeous," he said as he picked up my bulky suitcase. "You know we're only going to be gone for two days, right?"

"Yeah, but a girl's gotta have options," I replied.

"Of course. I should have known that, Syd," he said. "My apologies." '

I'm still not quite sure what I think of this book, since I'm not quite half way through. It does jump around between people a little, and I generally don't like that so much in a book. I may let you know once I've finished. And then there's a sequel to it. Hmm ...
