A good friend of mine posted this on Facebook, and tagged me saying that I should have this. I'm not sure, but I think this was built in under a staircase. I love the idea and it would make a very cosy spot to read, think, or just sit.

Initially, it looks cute; however, I think the lighting in there would be pretty poor and that open space would be better utilized by more book shelves. Just sayin'.
i like it! looks really comfortable. But, i agree, lighting might be an issue. :)
