I saw this movie last night.
As I watched it and was thinking about it afterward I was struck by an interesting thought.
Just like Aslan didn't come every time Lucy and the others thought they needed him, God doesn't come every time we think we need him. God comes in His timing, not ours.
That's not to say that He isn't always with us - He is!
In Deuteronomy 31:8 it says, "And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
